OneVoice27: Mission for All

OneVoice27: Mission for All

Imagine the impact of an Adventist influencer sharing spiritual messages with an audience of more than 600,000 followers. We have a few such individuals around the world, but I want to introduce you to just one: Oleg Bokov.

Oleg leads a volunteer digital ministry in Ukraine, bringing hope to his nation and standing among the most influential religious voices in Europe. He joined us at the 2025 General Conference Annual Council, where his story inspired church leaders from around the globe.

Now, imagine if Oleg’s influence were multiplied by 24 million digital missionaries. That moment has come! The OneVoice27 project is our opportunity to make this vision a reality. A mission for everyone.

OneVoice27 is a movement designed to unite the global church in a coordinated proclamation of the gospel in the digital age. Every pastor can take part in this initiative in a meaningful way, engaging their congregations through practical and creative methods so that together we may speak with one voice and reach countless hearts.

Our action plan is found in Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as witness to all the nations, and then the end will come”. This is a promise that invites our response as pastors and leaders. The gospel will not be preached by an isolated group, but by a united church, active, integrated, committed, and filled with the Spirit.

We live in unprecedented times, and our ministry is affected by these changes. Digital media, social networks, smartphones, and streaming platforms have connected the world as never before. Today, 5.41 billion people are on social media, while 7.2 billion smartphones connect the planet. The reach of audiovisual media is equally impressive: 5 billion people watch television regularly, and digital content consumption on social platforms reaches 14 billion hours per day. By 2029, 3.2 billion people will be radio listeners, and more than 2.2 billion books are sold annually. These numbers are not merely statistics – they are voices, faces, and hearts waiting to hear about Jesus.

You may ask, why now? Because God has opened an unprecedented door for mission before us. These figures only confirm what the Spirit has already been revealing: the field is vast, and media are today’s new roads to Damascus. Yet the call given in Scripture remains unchanged: “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every creation” (Mark 16:15). The Great Commission invites us to take the message of Christ to all nations, tribes, tongues, and peoples (Rev 14:6).

This is the moment to coordinate our steps, align our resources, and share Christ with the world with clarity, relevance, and urgency. And this is where the strength of OneVoice27 lies: in its simplicity. Three emphases guide the entire movement: Project, Preparation, and Purpose. They are easy to grasp, powerful for mobilization, and practical to implement.

The Project

In September 2027, we will dedicate an entire month to media-based evangelism, combining a global focus and local action. This initiative is a partnership between the global church’s media presence (Hope Channel, Adventist World Radio, digital communication platforms, and publishing houses) and more than 180,000 local churches and companies worldwide. Every member and every pastor is invited to participate. Through OneVoice27 we want to integrate its media presence with the physical presence in order to seemingly connect people with the local churches.

Some territories will dedicate the full month, others a week, and still others will focus on weekends. This will be a decentralized, yet globally aligned approach: while the message, timing, and message are unified (“one voice”), each level of the Church will contextualize its content communication to best reach its culture and language. What matters most is that each region chooses the format that works best for its context, and that we move together and proclaim together in harmony, with one voice.

With this emphasis, we will use every available medium: radio, television, digital platforms, social media, and literature. We will engage official portals, advertising spaces, and personal profiles. From church channels to Adventist influencers, from pastors’ profiles to local ministries, everyone and everything will find a place in this missionary movement.

Each chaplain, district pastor, and departmental leader can take part. Every church member is invited to dedicate their social networks to the service of evangelism, including the effective sharing of missionary literature. The more voices we unite, the greater our reach; the more we integrate, the greater our impact. As Paul said: “I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22).

And the central focus? Jesus, the Messiah.

In 2027, we will celebrate the 2000th anniversary of Jesus’ baptism, anointing, and the beginning of His ministry. This will be a remarkable opportunity to proclaim the Christ who has come, died, and risen – and to announce the Christ who is soon to return.

When we study the prophecy of the 70 weeks in Daniel chapter 9, which reveals the Messiah who has already come, we sense the urgency of this proclamation. Likewise, in the book of Revelation, from the very first chapter (1:7) to the last (22:7, 12, 20), the message points to the Christ who is coming soon. This is the truth we want to make clear to everyone.

In this global endeavor, we are called to innovate, create, and dare. A special invitation comes from inspired counsel: “Let every worker… study, plan, devise methods, to reach the people where they are. We must do something out of the common course of things. We must arrest the attention. We must be deadly in earnest. We are on the very verge of times of trouble and perplexities that are scarcely dreamed of.” (Ellen G. White, Evangelism, p. 122)

This prophetic vision reinforces the purpose of OneVoice27.

We live in a world that has increasingly isolated itself behind buildings, gated communities, and cars with closed windows. Doors have more locks, walls are higher, and privacy is a growing priority. How do we reach this generation? The challenge is to meet people where they are.

If mission requires creativity, intentionality, and urgency, we cannot simply repeat what has already been done. Ellen G. White reminds us that we must use every possible means, old and new, to reach those who have not yet heard. Every radio switched on, every video posted, every book shared, and every voice lifted must unite in one echo: Jesus has come and will soon return.

While people are more physically isolated, they are more connected than ever through media. And if that is where they are, we must step boldly into that space – going to the digital places where they live, not where we wish they were.

We also want to communicate with beauty, unity, and effectiveness. It is important to remember that unified communication does not mean uniformity, it means alignment, it means synergy. “That they all may be one… so that the world may believe” (John 17:21). Within this alignment, we recognize that circumstances differ, regulations vary, and cultural contexts require different approaches. Therefore, we encourage each region to adapt the format without losing the essence.

Where there are restrictions or limitations, let digital content and friendship-with-service strategies expand. Where conditions allow, let a stronger digital presence be joined with public initiatives, including advertising in strategic places and acts of solidarity. The essence will remain the same everywhere: Christ at the center, the Bible open, a clear message, and active members.

Preparation

The second emphasis reminds us that strong movements are born on our knees. No one improvises a harvest; the soil must be prepared, the seed planted, and the ground watered with prayer and consecration.

Therefore, we invite everyone, both in the church and in the home, to join a journey of intercession leading up to September 2027. Let there be organized prayer chains, daily family worship moments, pre-dawn seasons of consecration, intercessory small groups, prayer livestreams, vigils, and even corporate fasts on coordinated dates.

Let us pray for boldness, unity, and holiness (Acts 4:31). Without prayer we may have activity without anointing; with prayer, we will see eternal fruit (John 15:5).

This initiative is not merely strategic - it is theological. A central element in preparing for OneVoice27 is the study of the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation by church members. Ellen G. White assures us: “When the books of Daniel and Revelation are better understood, believers will have an entirely different religious experience. They will be given such glimpses of the open gates of heaven that heart and mind will be impressed with the character that all must develop in order to realize the blessedness which is to be the reward of the pure in heart.” (Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, p. 114)

The book of Daniel reveals God’s sovereignty over history (Daniel 2; 7; 8), while the book of Revelation places Christ at the very center of revelation (Revelation 1:1; 14:6-12). Every church member is invited to go deeper into the study of these two prophetic books. Each pastor is encouraged to preach about them more often and coordinate local initiatives, such as small groups, study gatherings, vigils, and other events, to explore these prophecies more deeply.

We must understand our prophetic foundations before we can effectively share them with others. Beyond that, we want to encourage all participants in this global movement to include The Desire of Ages in their personal devotional reading and to take part in sharing and distributing this inspired book.

The Purpose

The purpose defines the impact we hope to make in our congregations, schools, and healthcare institutions. This is not just another event; it is a missionary culture, a people in action, a church on the move. The goal is for every member to be engaged in mission.

There is a place for everyone: children and teens, who are increasingly connected; young adults, digital natives and content creators; and there are opportunities for adults and seniors who can share their faith through social media, literature distribution, or the powerful witness of personal experience.

Every initiative should lead to a next step. We call this the “Call to Action.” Each video, post, radio spot, and TV segment should include a clear invitation to study the Bible. We will use QR codes, short links, and local touchpoints, provided that each local church has an active Bible study ministry ready to respond with promptness, care, and relevance (Acts 5:42).

All of this should lead toward harvest events that build connections between virtual contacts and real people. Digital initiatives are only the beginning; it is genuine relationships that nurture disciples and lead people to make decisions for Jesus.

Each local church can determine the most effective ways to organize these harvest events. It can be done through evangelistic campaigns, reaping programs, decision-focused evangelistic caravans, baptismal celebrations, or disciple-making initiatives. In every case, church members are called to work alongside those interested to learn more about Jesus and biblical prophecies.

Timeline and Practical Steps

Pay attention to the key dates:

  • 2025 – Launch of OneVoice27 at General Conference Annual Council (October 11-12), and Annual Council in every division.

  • 2026 – Every level of the Church will contextualize resources, media and evangelism teams, and organize spiritual preparation. Mobilize train and equip Adventist Digital Disciples. Organize spiritual preparation through prayer initiatives studying the books of Daniel and Revelation.

  • 2027 (September) – Global month of proclamation and engagement. All Hope Channels, radio stations, Adventist Digital Disciples, church strategists platforms, every media outlet will proclaim a series of contextualized messages that will be screened in every local church and in the homes of the Adventists.

  • Post-2027 – Continuation through follow-up discipleship and renewed evangelistic momentum.

Practical steps for your church now:

  1. Sensitize your pastoral team and elders – Introduce the concept of OneVoice27, share the rationale, highlight opportunities in your region and inspire ownership.

  2. Form a local OneVoice27 leadership group – Include those involved in media and communication, evangelism, disciple-making, youth ministries, and lay leaders.

  3. Plan a campaign pathway – Identify target groups, select evangelism methods (digital and face-to-face), determine Bible study placements, and plan follow-up strategies.

  4. Train members – Equip them to use media to share Jesus and the biblical prophecies framed in hope, teach how to invite friends and guide simple Bible studies.

  5. Contextualize the message – Use testimonies and formats that resonate with your culture and language, while keeping the central theme of Christ and prophecies.

  6. Track and follow up – Ensure that media interest leads to Bible studies, and that the local church is prepared to welcome and nurture new contacts.

  7. Pray without ceasing – Emphasize dependence on the Holy Spirit, not just human strategy. “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord” (Zechariah 4:6).

The Lord has called us to a great task. Revelation’s appeal still echoes today: “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice…” (Revelation 14:9). If we are to preach with a loud voice, we must preach with one voice. The unity of the message is the strength of the proclamation. The prophetic voice must not be lost amid the noise of our time; it needs to be clear, steady, and centered in Christ.

The moment has come to align heaven and earth in both word and action. It’s time to move forward grounded in the Bible and focused on the mission, preparing the way for OneVoice27.
